“Our vessel arrived in Australia for the first time and due to restrictions could not enter the port to allow for large volumes of crew changeout. After all options for crew change by vessel to vessel were exhausted, Luke and his team produced a solution utilising a local helo company.

In a very short space of time LASTS had organised flights, transfers, customs and equipment to satisfy COVID, ABF and Bio concerns and successfully completed in excess of 20 flights allowing all crew members to be changed out without incident. The vessel departed Western Australia enroute to New Zealand and a request was submitted to LASTS to organise and complete a further crew change off the coast of Victoria. Yet again 2 crew change out flights were organised in a short space of time along with fixed wing flights to meet the helo schedules. No delays or incidents were recorded, and all operations were completed successfully and on time.

When the vessel arrived back in Australian waters, LASTS organised crew flights for the marine pilots to board the vessel in preparation for entry of the vessel to the port in Victoria. As before, LASTS delivered a flawless service and allowed the vessel to arrive with no delays.
